Are you looking for a new way to massage your muscles? If so, the Legiral Massager might be perfect for you. This product is designed to relieve tight and sore muscles by applying the correct pressure with its patented design.
It is also compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry around in your bag or purse. In this Legiral Massage Gun Review, resTORbio will let you know, should you invest in this product?
Legiral Le3 is not their only percussion massage device. The Le6 model is also available, but it’s much less expensive and has less power than the Legiral Le3 and the Le9 Pro, which we recently reviewed.
About Legiral
Legiral is not a well-known brand. Legiral is not like Theragun, which is the Apple of massagers. The Legiral brand was not even known until we discovered the Legiral LE3 percussion massagers. This was due to its popularity on Amazon.
Legiral appears to be a primarily Amazon seller at the moment. It seems that the company wasn’t just about selling massage tools.
In 2019, they attempted to market a rangefinder device. We don’t know how they did, but it’s not hard to imagine. They later released the L3 massage guns. Now, their entire Amazon store is devoted to massagers.
Legiral Le3 is not their only percussion massage device. The Le6 model is also available, but it’s much less expensive and has less power than the Legiral Le3 and the Le9 Pro, which we recently reviewed.

Pros and Cons
Pros:

Cons:
- Noisy heads
- The cord can get in the way of massaging parts like your back, making it a hassle to maneuver.
- Heads may be too intense for some users. The cord is also a potential hazard or inconvenience. In this hard case, another massage gun with wireless technology might be more suitable for you.
What’s in the Box?
The Legiral Le3 comes with 6 attachments. That’s quite an advantage for most of the time, massage guns would only have like 3 or 4 attachments with the package.
The attachments or heads include:
- a small and large ball head
- a pointed tip
- a spinal tap
- and a couple of flat tips.
The two flat tips are actually quite ideal for muscle inflammation reduction and at the same time, help deal with lactic acid build-up.
The rest of the massage heads ensures that you will have access to multiple if not all joints in your body for thorough massage sessions. Take note though that the head angle is not adjustable.
The rubber on its foam ball heads is also not the best in terms of quality and it rather deteriorates prematurely. It also then comes with the usual travel case, charger, and manual.
Key Features
It has all you need for a primary massage gun. That’s why it is so popular and high-rated. It is highly functional, potent, and comes with all the necessary accessories to enhance your recovery process
This massage gun is appreciated by everyone, whether they are office workers with a sore neck, head, or back from working at a computer all day or a gym-goer or a professional athletes. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.
The stroke of the 16mm amplitude allows it to penetrate deep into your tissues and reach deeper. You’ll get 10mm to 12mm with this price tag and other massage guns. This one is different. You get more than you pay for.
This is just one of the many vital features. The massage gun can be adjusted to 20 different levels. You can begin your session by massaging at a low intensity and then increasing the intensity. Add in the various different massage heads and 16mm amplitude, and you have a lot of options for massage sessions.
What’s the downside to this? We think it could use more stall force. It is ideal for those with low speeds muscle mass and density, as it weighs only 30 pounds. This product might not be suitable for you if you are a weightlifter, pro-athlete, or bodybuilder.
You can still feel the deep tissue power it has if you go beyond level 12. This massage gun could be sold for around 40 pounds. It might even be more popular.
It doesn’t, and that can make it a deal-breaker. Most people want a stall force between 40-and 60 pounds. This is what a lot of massage guns at this price range can offer.
Design and Build Quality
Technology
The Legiral Le3 model is a cordless massage gun that uses the newest battery technology. It has both an AC adapter and a car charger for easy charging on the go.
About the size of a lipstick, it can be packed easily into carrying bags for therapists’ convenience. At about 2 pounds when fully charged, its weight is pretty average among electric-type massage guns.
Control
The gun’s design is simple, and there are only a few buttons; the major rules include off/on the switch, speed adjustment dial, and the trigger to start and stop the massager.
Upon activating the power button located on its side, a blue LED light will turn on to indicate that the gun is turned on.
The LED light will also flash ten times when the battery starts to get weak, but you likely won’t have this problem as long as you are careful not to leave the device plugged in for a prolonged period.
Adjustability
With six different tips, this massage gun is perfect for so many uses. You can use the large or small ball heads to work deep tissue on your shoulders and back muscles.
You have a pointed tip if targeted relief of tension or recovery process in hard-to-reach areas like between shoulder blades are needed; there’s also a spinal tip that targets vertebrae along with trigger points around it, as well as two flat tips to help. With any lactic acid buildup from strenuous workouts!
Stroke Length
The stroke length or amplitude is the first number. It has a stroke length of 16mm. This is quite impressive. This is more than any other percussion massage gun in this price range. This is Legiral Le3’s main selling point.
There’s a catch. With a strong enough motor, 16mm would be a great benefit. But this motor isn’t. You only get 30 lbs. The Legiral Le3 provides a stall force of 30 lbs.
16mm of amplitude will feel significant if you have a more vital stall force, 40-60 lbs. The Le3 would be better off with the opposite, a lower amplitude for more power.
Please don’t be too concerned about it. This type of performance limitation or trade-off is quite common in this price range.
Many massagers priced at around $200 and made in China have shared parts, including the motor. This is a problem that you will likely encounter as long as you spend this amount of money.
Percussions
Another number to consider is the speed of your percussion massage device. This measurement is in percussions per hour, or PPM.
There are 20 speeds available on the Legiral Le3. The lowest setting is 1200 PPM, while the highest setting is 3200 PPM. Combining that with the various massage heads allows you to concentrate on specific pressure points or muscle groups.
Each level works well for different purposes. For activating and arousing muscles, the first few gears can be quite effective.
You want to relax your fascia from the 5th to the 8th gear. You have enough power to remove the lactic acid buildup in your muscles from the 9th fear through the 12th gear.
Gears 13-20 are mighty gears (relatively to the device’s power, which isn’t much in comparison). If you apply more pressure points, the device will work for deep tissue massage until it stalls.
Noise
One of the critical aspects we pay attention to is noise. It’s essential as it determines how comfortable someone feels when using a percussion massager.
A year ago, most massage guns were noisy (our favorite was Vybe Pro massage gun). People complained, and things started to change; now, manufacturers do whatever they can to drive down noise levels.
In just one short year, there have been many improvements in reducing sound levels on vibration devices, such as Vibe 2 from Ukrainian manufacturer DrsVibe – which has rave reviews for its soft touch feel too!
The Legiral Le3 uses a brushless motor and is advertised as a quiet device with noise levels ranging from 35 dB to 55 dB.
At the lower speeds, it’s slower than many other massage guns at this price level; on the other hand, in practice, it gets much louder when using higher speed settings above 12.
If you’re currently watching television while massaging your partner at high speeds, then be prepared to step up the volume.
Battery
This unit can run at lower speeds for approximately 6 hours of battery life, thanks to a 2500 mAh lithium battery. This is relatively standard for massage guns in its price range.
The unit is equipped with a three-pin charger that will plug directly into the gun. It is important to note that the manufacturer recommends using only original Legiral batteries
However, we have had success charging other brands of rechargeable lithium-ion batteries as well – including Panasonic and Sanyo.
If you’re worried about the battery dying in the middle of your session, give yourself enough time to charge it thoroughly before you plan on using it.
You can always use it while it’s plugged in, which may be one way to circumvent any problems with interrupted sessions if you’re limited with time.
The battery life will be severely affected if you run at high speeds. It drains more quickly at higher rates than expected.
We didn’t like the slow degradation of the battery’s performance. The storm stopped lastin’ after a few months of almost daily use.
It caused a 30%-40% decrease in an excellent performance. Although it still works for a few more days, it’s not as efficient as it once was.
Ease of Use and Portability
Like most cordless massagers, the Legiral Le3 massage gun is very easy to use. It’s got buttons with a bit more heft and depth in contrast to typical one-touch massage guns such as the Rayos Massager.
Its buttons have ridges so that they are easier to operate when your hands are slippery or full of lotion – which is always handy if you’re trying to adjust your speed while giving a massage without accidentally turning it off.
The power button has an indicator light, so you don’t accidentally leave it on before storage, plus there’s also an auto shut-off after 15 minutes.

Storage/Carrying Case
The Legiral Le3 massage gun does not have a carrying case, but it’s small enough to fit into luggage or a carry-on bag. This makes it easy to bring on trips whenever you need a quick massage after particularly strenuous touring days.
A lightweight at 0.75 pounds, this is one of the more portable massage guns available. At just 2 pounds when charged, it’s easy to bring along with you wherever you go for a quick massage on hard-to-reach areas like your calves and shoulders. It’s even possible to attach a strap or carabiner to the gun for easy storage/carrying options.
Additional Features Worth Mentioning
Let’s discuss the Legiral Le3 noise levels. The Legiral Le3 massage gun is relatively quiet, operating at 35 to 55 dB. However, it can get louder if you speed it up.
It can also cause noise problems if some of its components become loose.
The superior heat dissipation technology makes this particular massage gun extremely efficient. This technology is crucial as it helps to prolong the device’s life. Hardware-wise, it could be upgraded. It’s also vital that internal components don’t heat up quickly.
It also has an intelligent timing protection system as a safety measure and to protect the massage gun. It will automatically shut down after 10 minutes, regardless of whether it is being used or not.
Legiral Le3 massage guns also use the latest motor technology. This unit is equipped with a 24V brushless motor that offers decent value.
Who is This Legiral Best For?
Although the Legiral Le3 massage gun is advertised as perfect for chiropractors or physical therapists or serious athletes, we believe it’s best to be used at home. These are the main reasons.
The Legiral Le3 massage gun will not work if the battery isn’t removed, and it won’t function if it is plugged in. This is a problem for chiropractors and therapists who work long hours. Their patients and won’t have time to wait for the battery charge to recharge fully.
This brushless motor isn’t powerful enough to allow the device to be used by a physical therapist. 30 lbs. The stall force is not nearly as high as 60 lbs.
The Theragun Pro or the 57 lbs. provides stall force. The Hypervolt Go gun or the 56 lbs. The Ekrin B37 (or
B37s The Ekrin Bantam, which weighs 5 lbs, is smaller, lighter, and more affordable than the Ekrin Bantam. More stall force.
After 10 minutes, the gun will shut off. Legiral Le3 massage gun claims it is to protect your muscles. We believe the motor is being protected from overheating. The device can get quite hot when it is used frequently.
The Legiral Le3 massage gun is not as portable and lightweight as it claims to be. It weighs in at an additional 4.1 pounds. It’s heavy and difficult to transport.
It’s too large for the benefits it provides, considering it has the same or even weaker motor as some mini-massage guns like the Theragun Mini or the Ekrin Bantam.
